The Cotswold Way – a truly beautiful National Trail stretching just over 100 miles. It begins in the charming market town of Chipping Campden, meanders south through the heart of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and finishes in the historic City of Bath.

Join me on this series as I set out to walk and film every single step of this stunning trail, sharing the entire journey with you from start to finish.

Part 16: Bath Racecourse to Bath City Centre – 4.82 miles (7.75 km)

Continuing from the Bath Racecourse, the trail gently descends past the Prospect Stile, where the first glimpses of Bath begin to appear in the valley below. We continue through farmland and eventually into Weston, where the atmosphere shifts as the trail becomes more urban, bringing us closer to the city’s vibrant character.

As we approach Bath Abbey, we’ll pass through its picturesque parks and enjoy views of the city’s stunning Regency architecture. The journey ends at Bath Abbey, where a carved stone disc on the pavement outside the ornate west doors marks the end of the Cotswold Way, completing our magnificent journey.

The section of the trail takes us down 656 feet (200 metres) and only ascends 369 feet (112 metres).

I use Davinci Resolve Studio 19 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to YouTube. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.
