Champ U61 DP - Brass Impact Sprinkler - Old School Design, modified

Yes, I love making modifications to what appears to me a sprinkler that can use a little improvement. There are many ways to go about modifications, but this time I made a slight bend in the PJ design arm. My goal was to bend the tube a little forward and the tip of the tube a little bit to the right so the stream will cross the main stream every so slightly which you will notice in the video. It took me a while to make the edits to cut out some of the dead time in this video. There is nothing special about this sprinkler either in design, or movement, but it is solid and steady. I am not sure of the size of the nozzle at it is hard to read anything on the nozzle that might indicate. I made a slight comparison to the same model without modification, but it really is hard to tell as I did not want to break off the tube as they can be fragile, and have seen them break off rendering the arm unusable, unless you weld the tub back on. I have never done that and not about to start. This sprinkler can be used with or without the deflector, as the defuser does the job perfectly fine although I did use both. This particular model seems smaller than other U61 designs and the arm is smaller too. It makes a daily driver without issue and does it quite well.
