How Well Can NARROW SWORDS CUT against WOOD? Chinese Jian, Rapier, Sidesword, Spadroon

In this video I decided to do some cutting against fresh and dried wood, of various thicknesses, to look at how well a narrow blade can actually cut. Cutting against wood can also be indicative for cutting various targets, such as living bone. The sword used is the White Arc from LK Chen ( https://lkchensword.com/white-arc ), which performs excellently and has very nice edge geometry and is light. However, this blade type could be found on European swords such as rapiers also.
