Cold Stratify Seeds on this Winter Day | Indoor Seed Starting

Well it's time to start cold stratifying some of my perennial seeds to give them the best chance of good germination! Some seeds benefit greatly from cold stratification as it mimics the Winter cold and helps break the dormancy of the seed, which in turn leads to higher germination rates.
One of our homestead goals this year is to increase the amount of perennial flowers on our property to both attract more pollinators and also to help with beautification. So I have a lot of seeds going in the fridge to be cold stratified today...Purple Coneflower, Yellow Coneflower, Black-Eyed Susan, and Marshmallow! I also have Lavender and Butterfly Milkweed already in the fridge waiting to be planted 🌱
