Adding a New Satellite to an inexpensive FTA Receiver and running a blind scan on satellites 99 West and 95 West. I’m using a GT Media V7S receiver. It’s inexpensive and works reasonably well. The dish I’m using has a dual LNB (4 degree offset) with a 22 kHz switch built in, allowing reception of 2 satellites from one coax cable. These dishes are very common in my area. They are normally used for Shaw Direct Satellite TV but also happen to work great for free satellite TV because they have linear type LNB’s.
