This is a video of my trip to Kirkwall parkrun using all public transport. I used the train to Aberdeen then the Northlink ferry from there to Kirkwall. On Orkney I used local buses buying a day ticket to cover the whole day.

On the way back I used the Northlink ferry from Stromness to Scrabster then a taxi to Thurso Train Station and train back to Inverness followed by a Megabus back to Edinburgh and the tram to Leith.
