Determination of Alkalinity of Water_A Complete Procedure (AOAC 973.43 & IS 3025.23)

Alkalinity is a measure of the water's ability to neutralize acidity. An alkalinity test measures the level of bicarbonates, carbonates, and hydroxides in water and test results are generally expressed as "ppm or mg/L of calcium carbonate (CaCO3)”.
