Coal Trains In West Virginia At Gigantic Railroad Trestle! 4 Track RR Crossing, Trains With DPU

CSX Train Crossing 4 Track RR Crossing, Norfolk Southern Train With DPU On GIANT RR Trestle, 2 Trains Combined Into 1 Huge Train Going Under Trestle, Big Coal Train Passes Under Me, Light Locomotive On Bridge & Freight Train With DPU Goes Over The Trestle And Across The River! These 6 trains are in Kenova, West Virginia & one train is in Ashland, Kentucky. These are Norfolk Southern and CSX freight trains.
The first train is in Ashland , Kentucky at a 4 track railroad crossing. This is next to the Amtrak station. I was on the way to Kenova with 1960gambit and we stopped in Ashland to catch a westbound freight. In my last video we saw a train in the dark here when we were on the way home.
Then we see a train with a DPU crossing the gigantic railroad bridge in Kenova, West Virginia. Kenova is an industrial area that was built by the railroad. Look how big this bridge is! It crosses right over the CSX mainline that goes to Huntington, Kentucky and beyond.
Next we see a CSX train going under the big bridge. This is literally two trains in one. The first part of the train is a grain train, then we have the DPUs followed by the coal train section. That was a nice train there son!
After that we see a big coal train going under me and the bridge. Look at all that coal mounded up in the hopper cars! That was a nice train. That is what I came for. Coal keeps the lights on.
Then we see a big locomotive going over the bridge to Ohio. The locomotive is running light railroad westbound. Right after that engine passes another big train with a DPU shoving on the rear is seen on the bridge crossing over Kenova, the Ohio River and into Ohio. The trains enter South Point, Ohio after they cross the Ohio River. The best frequencies here are 160.230 for CSX and 161.250 for Norfolk Southern. There are other frequencies used for switching and talking to the dispatcher but I only use these two, otherwise it gets too busy.
