Haunted October Series Yamhill Carlton Cemetery: Revenge will be mine. Yamhill Oregon Yamhill County

Apologies, I had to cut the video short as a family was visiting their loved one. I didn't want to be disrespectful or annoying with my filming. Sadly no tour and missing some highlight headstones but I will visit another day for sure!

Today we visit Yamhill Carlton Cemetery established in 1853. I spent a great deal trying to find Indian Jim and Clark but failed to this trip. Our 1st confederate solider was discovered here and will be uploaded in a future vid. Lots of civil war and war of 1812 veterans can be found here.

In our second Haunted October Series we will hear the story of Alexander Carson. Local legend tells of a ghostly apparition that can be seen and heard at night in the wooded area vowing revenge to those that wronged him in 1835....or was it 1836? Two legends one murder.

We'll also hear the story of the Stewart pioneer family. A last minute decision was made at the Whitman Mission that something just didn't feel right with the Native American tribes. Luckily, they avoided the Whitman Massacre making their way to North Yamhill just before the event.

Again, apologies on no tour and missing stories. I will certainly visit this awesome cemetery again. A cold October day but a fun trip minus the WRONG TURN. Almost had my own horror story.
