Camping under a tarp in the RAIN - Important channel update

This hike and camp, under a tarp, alongside a river, with the sound of evening and morning rain, was a gem. It was just what I needed to relax and restore me. It is the middle of summer in New Zealand and warm enough not to have to bother with a tent. I camped under my tarp, in the elements. It was amazing. I loved watching the river and listening to the sound of the rain. I was lucky enough to go to sleep to the sound of the rain on the tarp. True bliss.
