About the artists
TRUMPETS IN CONCERT celebrates its 25th stage anniversary this year. Founded by Leonhard Leeb, the classical band has earned its high international reputation with outstanding concerts at international festivals such as the Bregenz Festival, Carinthian Summer, "Proms at St. Jude's" in London, a tour of Canada and a cultural tour to China (including the Deyang Music Festival at the Deyang Concert Hall). A highlight in their career was certainly the invitation of the Austrian President Heinz Fischer, who asked them twice (2004, 2010) to musically frame his inauguration. The trumpeters have long since attracted the attention of the international classical labels NAXOS, worldwide release of the CD "Imperial Fanfares", and ARS Production, and the BBC Online magazine in London also dedicated an article to them.
