TransLink Expo Line SkyTrain - Waterfront to King George (2015)

This is a video of the entire journey onboard TransLink's Expo Line, one of the three Skytrain routes in Metro Vancouver. The Expo Line was opened between 1985 and 1993 in stages - first to New Westminster in time for the 1986 Transport Expo, and then extended to Columbia and over the Fraser River via the 'Skybridge' to the city of Surrey in 1991 and again further into Surrey in 1994. We ride aboard Skytrain 117-118, a 1985-built ICTS Mark 1 set. Connected to our set is Skytrain 135-136 - a 1991-built ICTS Mark 1 set still in the former BC Transit paint scheme with TransLink decals.
