TransLink Expo Line Skytrain - Waterfront to King George (2017)

Описание к видео TransLink Expo Line Skytrain - Waterfront to King George (2017)

This is a video of the entire journey onboard TransLink's Expo Line, one of the three SkyTrain routes in Metro Vancouver. The Expo Line was opened between 1985 and 1993 in stages - first to New Westminster in time for the 1986 Transport Expo, and then extended to Columbia and over the Fraser River via the 'Skybridge' to the city of Surrey in 1991 and again further into Surrey in 1994. Columbia station is the junction with the second branch of the Expo Line to Production Way/University, which opened as part of the Millennium Line in 2002; it changed to Expo Line branding in late-2016 prior to the Evergreen extension of the Millennium Line opening from Lougheed Town Centre in Burnaby to Lafarge Lake-Douglas in Coquitlam.

We ride aboard Skytrain 409-412, a 2016-built ART Mark 3 set. Featuring a full-walkthrough of the four-car trainset at the beginning of the video, and full views of the train departing from King George back to Waterfront at the end.
