Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup warm milk
3 tbsp sugar
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tbsp or 11g active dry yeast
Oil for frying
Instructions:

Bloom the Yeast: Mix warm milk, sugar, melted butter, and salt in a bowl. Add active dry yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

Make the Dough: Gradually add flour to the yeast mixture, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Let it Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour, or until it doubles in size.

Shape and Fry: Roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thickness, cut out doughnut shapes, and fry in hot oil at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown.

Glaze and Enjoy: Dip the warm doughnuts in your favorite glaze and let them set on a wire rack.
