2023 GNCC Rd. 9 Snowshoe WV 6th Place Masters A 50+ 2 laps. Can you say Slippery A$$ Rocks ?

This is the first time I've been to this event as well.
I've heard that this is the toughest track on the GNCC circuit. So, when I saw it had been raining all week leading up to the event I figured it was going to be a knarly one.
I almost didn't get the start with the camera because I had to have the bike in gear, as this is the only running engine start, and my bike didn't want to idle and was stalling. I guess it wasn't adjusting to the altitude properly or something.
I got a decent start and didn't want to push too hard the first lap since I had no idea where I was going. I ended up finding Howards Hole with my front tire down in there and fell over. I'm not sure how many places I lost trying to get back on board. I did have that moment to get the rear camera turned on. So, I'll have some rear facing footage uploading shortly as well.
The track got more slippery and deeper mud every lap. After the first lap they cut out the big hill climb - I guess because it started to get too difficult.
When I was close to finishing the 3rd lap, on the super fast road section, I about crashed at high speed because my front tire had gone flat. But since my rim lock was still keeping the tire on the rim I chanced finishing that lap and doing the lap lap as well. I'm glad I did - as this was my best GNCC finish since starting to do some of them.
