The Book of Changes we refer to is a general term. It composed of three parts: the "Lianshan Yi", the "Guicang Yi", and the "Zhou Yi". The "Lianshan Yi" is the source of the Chinese Yijing. It first appeared 6500 years ago during the Shennong era, using the continuity of mountains and the movement of clouds to deduce celestial phenomena and human affairs, making it an early philosophical and astronomical work reflecting the relationship between humanity and nature in ancient times. The "Guicang Yi" is a branch of the ancient Chinese mathematical system of Yijing studies, primarily a mathematical logic system that uses a known number to deduce multiple unknowns. Over thousands of years, eventually evolved into the "Zhou Yi" we know today. The "Three Yijing" is expressed in the form of "hexagrams" (gua). Few people today fully understand it; most use it for fortune-telling, which is only a minor function. In reality, the Yijing is a book that reveals the mysteries of the cyclical changes of all things in the universe.

The Book of Documents is Chinese earliest historical record, documenting approximately 1500 years of history and political systems from the reigns of Yao, Shun, Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties. The core chapters of it are composed of titles such as "Yaodian", "Dayumo", "Tanggao", and "Yixun". The "Three Character Classic" extracts its main content into six characters: 1. 典(diǎn), the fundamental principles of governance; 2. 谟(mó)，Plans for governing the country; 3. 训(xùn)，the attitudes of ministers; 4.诰(gào)，Announcements of the ruler; 5. 誓(shì)Proclamations of War; 6. 命(mìng)，Decrees of the ruler. This not only helps us understand the governing philosophies and lifestyles of ancient times but also offers valuable insights for the present day. Confucius highly valued the study of the Book of Documents, believing it could cultivate extensive knowledge and understanding of etiquette.
