The works and jerks for this fella. Routine annual dentistry, followed by a sand drench and a willy wash. The upper arcade is wider than the lower arcade. Horses grind their food as they chew. Eventually they can develop sharp edges on the buccal side of their upper arcade, and the lingual side of their lowers. Using a Powerfloat, I carefully grind the edges down. Next I tube him with paraffin and ground cellulose, chased with wormer and Epsom salts. The goal is to really stir up his guts and move any trapped sand along. Lastly, his willy was quite filthy, so we give that a quick tidy!
