Ingredients

1. Fresh Ume 2 Pounds
2. Japanese Rock Sugar (Rock Sugar Only) 1/2 Pound
3. Shōchū 750ml (26-32oz Bottle)

Kitchen
1. Sealable Jar
2. Large bowl to clean and soak
3. Fruit basket

Optional
1. Fresh Shiso Leaves, green or red
2. Umeboshi Salt (Dried Umeboshi grounded with salt and shiso)
3.Crushed or cubed ice

Ume Varieties Used
1. Shiro-Kaga, white single flowers
2. Nanko, pink semi double flowers
