Sticky Tire Shootout | RC500s from System3 Off-Road vs Maxxis Roxxzilla

We tested out the new 35" RC500s sticky from System3 Off-Road at Cross Bar Off-Road Park in Davis Oklahoma. For perspective, we compared the RC500s against a 35" Maxxis Roxxzilla which we consider that best sticky tire for this type of terrain.

Checkout the video and develop your own opinion but keep in mind that sticky tires often start out some what slick and then gain traction as they wear.

We are still excited to keep testing this tire and figuring out its quirks. Our main complaint is that it seems to struggle with lateral traction but we're thinking that might have something to do with having a stiffer sidewall when compared to the Roxxzilla. We plan on testing/comparing these tires again at a lower psi while they contain to wear to see if they need lower pressure in order to flex more.

All keep in mind that while a stiffer sidewall might make you lose lateral traction, the sidewall is also the main complaint about the Roxxzillas. The classic give and take.
