Grisons - Making ice cream with pine wood | What's cookin'

Описание к видео Grisons - Making ice cream with pine wood | What's cookin'

The Grisons Canton lies in the Swiss Alps. The region is famous for its air dried Bündner meat and Bündner nut gateau. A rare fir tree also grows here, that is indigenous to the Alpine highlands – the stone pine. Carpenter Barbara Schuler-Rozzi doesn’t just use the tree’s aromatic wood for carving furniture but also in the kitchen and for making ice-cream.

What's cookin' is about traditional culinary recipes from different European regions.
