How to take Low Light Portrait Photography | Behind the Scenes | Sony 50mm F1.2 GM First Impression

Have you ever wondered what makes an image noisy? So imagine this, you are shooting in a low light environment and the shot requires the model to perform some movement. To ensure the shot is sharp your first instinct is probably to bump up the shuttle speed. But the higher the shutter speed, the less light gets passed through so the darker the image becomes, to counter that you’re probably going to compensate by bumping up the ISO. Keep in mind, the more you bump up the ISO, the more grain and noise will be introduced into your photos. I know, it's a lot to consider.

So what can we do to fix that? In today's video, we are going to talk about low-light photography and how you can elevate your low light portrait game with 5 simple tips. This entire session was shot using the Sony 50mm F1.2 GM, big shoutout to Sony Malaysia for sending this over for us to review and experiment. Thanks guys!
