The songs were not, afaik, given a title in French.

I did specify in the title that this song comes from the European dubbing. Though in fairness, this is also the only French version of the song you’ll find, as the Canadian dub (which does exist) left the songs in English.

And OH look! You CAN have a princess-ish character who’s not fully made of sugar and won’t throw up cotton candy at every syllable! Has France finally learnt how to handle main female characters without making them into sickeningly sweet self-propelled bags of sugar? Whatever am I gonna do with all the lemons I had saved for when I needed to listen to a female main character singing in French?

Yeah, a lot of backhanded compliments here. I just needed to get it all out. But I DO like this dubbing, even lyrics-wise, with all the attention they clearly gave even to the lip-sync.
I sincerely hope this marks a new era in European French dubbing. It’s so painfully needed
