It's not a new problem, seagulls swooping on residents in seaside towns up and down the UK, stealing food and even going on the attack. But what to do about it?

Today MPs will try to come up with some answers as they discuss the issue in Parliament. Gulls are protected and can't be culled, but netting, spikes on roof tops and even using birds of prey to scare them away are some of the tactics that have been used. Graham Satchell has been to Brighton to find out more.
