My friend Mitchell (no, the other Mitchell) has excellent taste in daily drivers. When he's not cruising around in his ratty Little Red Express, he's driving this '78 W100 Power Wagon. Unfortunately, it decided to stop doing the whole internal combustion thing some weeks back. At the time, he wasn't sure what it could be, so he started changing various parts. When I finally got around to checking the truck out, I heard a noise that is becoming all too familiar. I recently heard the same noise emanating from a 1975 Dodge Monaco police car... Yep, sounds like it's timing chain time. Let's pop the seal on the 318 LA engine under that glorious bird bath hood and take a look.
