RECIPE
½ C oats (rolled; not quick)
1+ tsp sweet white miso
¼ C sauteed or dry mushrooms
¼ tsp functional mushroom powder (I recommend Four Sigmatic’s 10-Mushroom Blend, which dissolves instantly and tastes great.)
1 tsp dulse flakes or a ~1-inch piece of kombu
A sprinkle of seasoned rice wine vinegar (about a tsp)
1 freshly chopped scallion
About 1 tsp freshly grated or dried/powdered ginger
Water (no need to heat)

For topping (a sprinkle or drizzle of all):
Turmeric and/or spirulina
Sauerkraut
Toasted sesame oil
Toasted sesame seeds
Healthy fats

DIRECTIONS
1. Combine all ingredients except for toppings in a bowl or mason jar and whisk well.
2. Store in the fridge for several hours or overnight.
3. Remove a couple of hours prior to eating if possible (to have at room-temp).
4. Top with a sprinkle of turmeric, or spirulina. Drizzle toasted sesame oil and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
5. Enjoy!
