REVIEW OF THROUGH THE WOODS EVER AFTER HIGH COLLECTION

I've had the Ever After High Through The Woods collection since the summer of 2015, but for some reason, only got around to unboxing and reviewing it now. I don't know why I waited so long - these dolls were so well-designed and detailed! They contain some really special accessories and are all done beautifully!

The Through The Woods line from Ever After High consists of 4 dolls: Poppy O'Hair, C.A. Cupid, Blondie Lockes, and Ashlynn Ella. There were several webisodes devoted to the Through The Woods characters...the synopsis is that Ashlynn Ella is invited to the Blue Moon Forest Fest and invites CA Cupid along as her guest. Blondie Lockes is asked to cover the event, and she brings along Poppy O'Hair to keep her hair styled "just right" all evening.

Meanwhile, Faybelle Thorn is jealous and wants to go as well, but she is never invited to anything as the daughter of the Dark Fairy. So because she can't wrangle an invitation, she sets the girls down the wrong path...into the Dark Forest, instead of the Enchanted Forest. And there you have it!

Here are the many things I love about the Through The Woods line:

Lanterns: All the dolls are carrying lanterns that match their individual color palettes.

Unique travel navigation accessories: CA Cupid carries binoculars, Blondie Lockes is carrying some kind of MirrorPad (for broadcasting), Ashlynn Ella is carrying a map, and Poppy O'Hair has a compass.

Berets/Headwear: Both CA Cupid and Poppy O'Hair have berets on, and they look amazing.

Hooded Capes: Ashlynn and Blondie are both wearing hooded capes. CA Cupid is wearing a capelet. Poppy O'Hair is wearing a chic bolero jacket.

Amazing details: CA Cupid's boots have got to be the best thing ever - their stitching and heart/arrow details are just spectacular. Poppy O'Hair has fantastic earrings (a hair dryer on one side, and a dangling comb on the other). Blondie's cape has bears on it, while Ashlynn's has flowers...all the girls have forest prints on their dresses that are stunningly lovely.
