Prince Original Graphite | Playtest

I found what I consider to be one of the most talked about and influential racquets of its time for $7 American. With a leather grip and overgrip the Prince Original Graphite weighs close to 13 ounces. I am much more accustomed to swinging a more head light racquet but this gem does pack a punch if you prepare and don’t have lazy feet. I can definitely see how it was such a weapon in the hands of Andre Agassi, Michael Chang, Gabriela Sabbatini and Monica Seles. This I believe is the first iteration as it has a single green stripe over black. Later models had more stripes. Mine also has no headguard and I have kept the headwear tape I found on it there until I bust the strings. Happy hunting!
