In this video I demonstrate how to paint a plastic 28mm American Civil War Union Officer from Perry Miniatures with paint triads. Paint triads are three similar shades of a colour that are applied in layers to give a shade, midtone and highlight to an area of the model. I use some proprietary triads from Wargames Foundry and make up some of my own from Vallejo and Army Painter paints. The full list is below.
