This track was requested by a fair few of my viewers, and man, was I happy to oblige. I've previously covered Gaur Plains from Xenoblade Chronicles on this channel, and that is still one of my favorite covers to date. When I was presented with the chance to take Snowy Valak Mountain (Night), I was super excited. Snowy Valak Mountain's theme is equal parts atmosphere, equal parts groove, and I really tried to retain that in my arrangement to do justice to the original. I haven't played Xenoblade Chronicles myself (yet), so I watched some gameplay footage to get a feel for the area myself. When it turned to night and the crystals started glowing, my jaw almost dropped. Xenoblade is beautiful, and so is Snowy Valak Mountain's night music.
