Kenwood Sony Car Audio Preamp Testing BLUNDER - turn off Apple Sound Check!!!

Описание к видео Kenwood Sony Car Audio Preamp Testing BLUNDER - turn off Apple Sound Check!!!

THIS is why we were not seeing 5 volts during Kenwood and Sony car audio preamp testing. Apple Sound Check may be dramatically reducing the sound quality and output of YOUR car stereo. I'm talking a ridiculous difference in output! If audio quality is important to you in your car audio system, this is a must watch!!! Apple users, listen up.

What happens to your Kenwood or Sony car stereo when you have Apple Sound Check turned on??? I have always left this audio setting OFF, yet apparently Apple turned Sound Check on during a recent update. How can Sound Check decrease voltage on your Kenwood, Sony or Alpine car stereo? Your output is lowered, sometimes dramatically! It all depends on what your lowest output track is in your library. In my case it created a 4 volt drop in output!

If you have a wide variety of music in your library, I can guarantee you are missing out. The results on the scopemeter are undeniable. You may be leaving performance on the table. Turn off Apple Sound Check and enjoy the true voltage of your Sony, Kenwood or Alpine car stereo system!!!

In today's video ‪@carstereochick‬ explains how she and John discovered the way this sneaky little iPhone setting was throttling performance in car audio systems. Watch as she takes apart the showroom retesting various head units with the scopemeter, multimeter and Audio Control DM-RTA. Why did the Sony XAV-AX6000, Kenwood DMX709s and DMX958XR all have such low voltage on the front and rear pre-amp? Why did Sony think it was necessary to jack up the EQ to actually get 5 volts out of the XAV-AX6000? Did Kenwood REALLY lower their standards and drop their voltage? NO - Apple turned on Sound Check after a software update and robbed us of the true output. Find out what this setting actually does and how to turn it off so YOU can enjoy the true FULL voltage of your Sony, Kenwood or Alpine car stereo.
