The Best Electric Bargain | 2018 Kia Soul EV Full Tour & Review

As we continue to feature EVs on TestDrive, we take a visit to Mega Kia Brossard for their Kia Soul EV event to test drive this full-electric subcompact crossover SUV.

The Kia Soul is a very unique vehicle in Kia's lineup, mostly for it's design and look, but also for being the only current EV in their lineup until the 2019 Kia Niro EV hits the market later in 2019. We had a chance to drive a fully loaded Soul EV to see what makes this such a popular seller here in Québec, and what kind of range you can expect from a vehicle like this.

This 2018 Kia Soul EV is configured with the Luxury + Sunroof trim, and available only in this titanium silver paint colour. Exterior features include a backup camera, power folding mirrors, front and rear parking sensors, and HID headlights with fog lamps. Inside we find synthetic leather to keep with that Eco spirit, heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, power windows and doors, that large panoramic sunroof, Kia's excellent infotainment system, and EV-focused gauges and cluster information.

While this Snapshot is quick, we do get a chance to drive around with the Soul EV to see how it handles and performs during a typical daily drive. We're hoping to be able to feature more electric vehicles on this show!
