Welcome to my very first Vlogmas! I hope you are enjoying this series so far. I'm having a lot of fun creating these different (for me) videos.
Happy Christmas everyone!

In this Vlogmas, I overdye some red yarn with emerald green dye. The yarn was originally dyed in a 1% depth of shade in scarlet fibre reactive dye from Dharma. I started off dip dyeing into emerald green acid dye form DT Craft and Design but ended up kettle dyeing one half and speckling on the other. That's a fun thing about yarn dyeing. you don't have to stick exactly to your original plan!

Fibre reactive dyes can be used on plant based fibre and animal based fibres. Acid dyes can only be used on animal based fibres.

I have a monthly yarn subscription that can be purchased through my Patreon:   / fromthecauldron   Each month you'll receive 100g of yarn in your chosen weight dyed in a mystery colourway and some goodies made by other small businesses. Another perk for Patreons is they get early access to the video where I dye that month's yarn and they get to vote for next month's theme.

Would you like to buy some of the yarn, threads or fabric featured in my videos? Pop on over to www.fromthecauldron.com to see what I've got on sale.

Some of the yarn I use in my videos is from Laughing Hens: https://www.laughinghens.com#FromTheCauldron (affiliate link)
