An amazing opportunity a few years back to handle and play with a genuine 15th century septum ---a pole arm that has always been my favorite going back to a foam version I made in the early 1980s. Lol. The real thing was beautiful way beyond any expectation. From a private collection. Only the original haft has been replaced.
