silk road（祈りの道）のプロジェクトアーカイブ映像を公開いたしました。

12年に渡る堂塔の大改修により役目を終えた清水寺の本堂舞台板から音楽家・内田輝氏が、西洋の木製楽器であるクラヴィコードを製作。世の平安を祈り、演奏とともに奉納しました。

We are pleased to announce that we have uploaded the archived videos of silk road – a path of prayers.

Following the completion of the Great Renovation of the Kiyomizu-dera Temple buildings that spanned 12 years, musician Akira Uchida crafted a special clavichord. This wooden piano-like European instrument was made from the aged floorboards that had once been the Main Hall stage. Praying for world peace, Akira Uchida offered this one-of-a-kind instrument along with his clavichord performance.
