Fish is one of the favorite seafood among Indians. Fish curry is an Indian dish , which is a gravy based preparation of fish. The way of preparation and the base of the curry varies in different regions. Among the various Indian fish curry, Kerala style fish curry, Goan style fish curry & Bengali style fish curry are the most popular ones.. So here, am gonna demonstrate how to make Kerala style coconut based nadan fish curry , my grandmother’s inherited recipe. Ingredients
Kingfish 750 grams
Coconut milk (thick) 2 to 2 & quarter cups in a 300 ml cup

Grated coconut 1 small fist full
Gambooge 3 pieces - soaked in a little water for 15 minutes
Green chillies 3 to 4 no.s
Curry leaves 2 to 3 sprigs
Water - a little for grinding the coconut
Salt to taste
Coriander powder 3 quarter tablespoons
Turmeric powder half teaspoon
Kashmiri chilli powder 2& half tablespoons
Tomato 1

For tempering

Coconut oil 1& half tablespoons
Fenugreek seeds 2 pinch
Chopped shallots 3 to 4 no.s
Curry leaves 1 or 2 sprigs
