✅ Explain Amrita University B.Tech admission process
AEEE 2021 will be held in 3 Phases: April, June and July. AEEE is on lines of JEE Main 2021. AEEE June session has both CBT and remote proctored exam modes.

✅ Will only AEEE be considered for Amrita B.Tech admissions?
Admissions in Amrita University will be through AEEE 2021 (60% of seats), JEE Main (30% of seats) and the remaining 10% seats on the basis of SAT and Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam (PUEE).

✅ Will class 12 marks be considered for Amrita B.Tech admissions?
As of yet, we have not decided to use class 12 marks for B.Tech admissions at Amrita University.

✅ AEEE has two modes - centre-based online exam and remote proctored test. How will merit be decided?
While the mode of AEEE 2021 is different, the questions asked will be same. Secondly, scores will be normalized for all the sessions using the accepted formula of equating scores.

✅ Candidates applying through PUEE need 75% above in Maths and in aggregate. Why is this criterion different?
We don’t want all our engineers to be software developers but those who can develop precise types of systems. For this knowledge of Maths is mandatory.

✅ AEEE and JEE Main applicants have more than three attempts. Which scores will be used for admission purposes?
The best of his/her scores will be considered for students who have attempted AEEE/ JEE Main more than once.

✅ When will AEEE counselling be held?
AEEE Counselling 2021 and seat allotment will be held in the last week of June after JEE Main result declaration.

✅ There are changes in the Amrita B.Tech curriculum. Please explain.
B.Tech final year curriculum at Amrita University has been streamlined such that students have options to choose specializations across different streams.

✅ Give details on Amrita University campuses and possible intake.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham campuses and intakes are:
Amrita University, Coimbatore seat intake is 1260-1300
Amritapuri campus has an intake of 800.
Bangalore campus’s intake is 600 to 640
Chennai campus has an intake of around 420 to 250.
So, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham total seat intake is 3000. Amravati campus may start in the near future.

✅ Will NEET be conducted for admissions to allied sciences courses at Amrita University?
No. Admissions will be through Amrita’s own entrance examination
