Partridge Taser - Fly Tying Tutorial

This wet fly has been excellent for our local fisheries! The purple color is a great attractor pattern, the hint of UV Ice Dub and Midge Flash gives a little bit of flare to draw fish in.

This fly can be fished in the typical wet fly fashion down-stream and across. However, I've been using these for non-trout species and having a lot of fun! It especially works great tricking all of our local sunfish population. You can let it drop in front of them and they'll eat it on the drop, pulse it or give it a twitch if they refuse, or strip it back actively and watch them chase it down and annihilate it.
