Viv and Panya Participate in Hoof Care Training

Come behind the scenes with us, as we observe 11-month-old Viv and 2-year-old Panya participating in hoof care training with their primary trainers, Amy and Kayla. You'll see some big training milestones, like Panya's first time approaching the foot block and Viv practicing putting her hoof on top of the block! Go, girls!

It's not all yard zoomies and lettuce snacks for these two energetic young giraffe. Thanks to their trusting relationships with their keepers, you're about to see how incredibly intelligent and confident they are.

As the two newest hoof care program participants show off their skills, Amy and Kayla, CMZoo giraffe keepers, tell us why hoof care is so important for giraffe. They also talk through the various milestones of hoof care training, and how Panya and Viv are making great progress.
