West Somerset Cathedrals Express - with 6201 Princess Elizabeth

The 23rd August's Cathedrals Express to the West Somerset Railway was 6201 Princess Elizabeth's first tour following overhaul.
We began the day at Brentford, having ascertained that this was the first pick-up point and not Hounslow as had been stated.
A navigation error cost us a possible second shot at Ascot, so we moved on to our next location, Berkley. This is probably better suited to trains that are not stopping at Frome, as we were treated to a slow pass.
On July 3rd, under similar circumstances, we failed to reach Lovington in time when the satnav routed us via Shepton Mallet. Today it sent us through Bruton and this, together with a late departure from Castle Cary, meant that we were able to grab two shots rather than the anticipated none.
6201 having been removed from the train at Norton Fitzwarren, it was down to 47580 to continue to Minehead alone, and we captured its unhurried progress at Crowcombe.
Tackling the climb to Bruton from a standing start at Castle Cary was always going to be interesting, so we found two spots in the vicinity of Wyke Champflower. We weren't disappointed.
We then embarked on a cross-country dash to Colthrop Level Crossing, in the hope that such a large loco might be speed checked through Thatcham. Unfortunately, the footbridge at Colthrop has been removed, so a quick relocation to Midgham was needed.
It's probably comes as no surprise when I say that 6201 could be heard in the distance before that unit at the opposite platform arrived.
There should have been two more shots to follow: the water stop at Ascot and then, almost certainly, Barnes, but on arrival at Reading 6201 was removed from the train. The reason given was problems with the water stop at Ascot. Other trains before now have made impromptu stops at some unlikely places, but they didn't have the option of a quick route home and an early finish.
