I went to the garden to pick tiny bitter gourd for dinner. This variety can be found in every Filipino wet markets. As a Filipino from the north of the Philippines, we often cook this kind of bitter gourd for our pinakbet, a Filipino vegetable stew. The next day, I saw the kakawate trees are in bloom. I picked kakawate flowers and turned it into okoy.
