Stacey lost her dad at 12 and her mom at 17. Her maternal grandparents were Jehovah’s Witnesses, and after her mom passed, she quickly jumped into the organization. She got baptized at 18 and a month later got married. She had a son, then had twins girls at 25, and one of them was a stillbirth.

Stacey would leave the organization and then come back. She finally wrote her letter of disassociation in April 2021.
