Homemade Hurdy Gurdy

This is my third hurdy gurdy. I made it as a school project because I study Folk music at Rättviks gymnasium in Sweden.

I´ve made some other instruments as well. Mostly bagpipes. It´s my new model wich was an experiment at the begining. But it turned out to sound quite good and I like the design so I´m planning to do more hurdy gurdys with this model as a standard.

It has 3 melodi strings, 3 drone strings and 2 trompette strings.

The songs was recorded 2 days after the hurdy gurdy was "born" so it´s not fully adjusted yet.
