一個北大才女與敦煌的57年 A Learned Female Graduate of Peking University and Her 57 Years in Dunhuang

1938年出生的樊錦詩，畢業於北大考古專業，是敦煌研究院的第三任掌門人。她成長於江南水鄉，卻在大西北守護莫高窟半個多世紀，被媒體稱為“敦煌的女兒”。她用20年開創了“數字敦煌”的項目，實現了30多個洞窟整窟高清圖像全球共享，還主持編寫了《敦煌石窟全集》。今年9月，樊錦詩攜自傳《我心歸處是敦煌》做客一條。

Fan Jinshi, born in 1938 and graduated from the Archeology major of Peking University, is the third director of the Dunhuang Academy. She grew up in the Yangtze River Delta but has been protecting the Mogao caves in the north-west area for more than half a century. She’s thus praised by the media as the ‘Daughter of Dunhuang’. She spent 20 years working on the ‘Digital Dunhuang’ project to share the high-resolution images of over 30 caves online around the globe. She’s also presided over the editing of the Complete Works on Dunhuang Grottoes. This September, Fan Jinshi gave an interview to YIT with her autobiography Dunhuang is Where My Heart is.
