3 BEST HIKES in Auckland to do in the RAIN

Hiking in the rain in Auckland is a fact of life, especially in winter. We have chosen what we think are 3 of the best hikes in Auckland that can be done in the rain. This is based on the following criteria.
1. Track condition and drainage: All of these tracks are in excellent condition with well-crafted stairs, platforms and drainage.
2. Track cover: Most of the track has good tree cover that will shield you from the majority of the rain
3. Distance: All of the tracks are around 8km to10km and are loops
As an extra bonus, all the tracks allow dogs on a leash.
NOTE: Like most tracks in Auckland about 1 third of the track is going uphill and one third is going downhill.
