Susan Carlson Fabric Collage Eye Demo

It's in the eyes. In this fabric collage excerpt from my Facial Features eWorkshop, I show an alternate and playful way to create an eye using the printed patterns of my fabrics as inspiration for forming eye parts—from pupils to lids and brows. See another YouTube video creating the first eye of this portrait. I also I teach a more detailed layered approach to eyes, creating a hand-held eye unit. Since every eye is different, so should the approach to creating one in fabric collage.
