Travel Buddy Cook Ups Ep 9 - Frozen Pizza

Travel buddy cook up number 9, Frozen Pizza, nothing flash here, just showing different things to cook and how long they take. I had a big week at work and spent the day before picking my ute up from Port Augusta (14hr round trip) and then backing it up with another 8 hours to Dubbo to get some planning sorted with Curl. So I was up for a nice easy cook that wouldn't take long and could be eaten whilst driving if I needed to, frozen pizza was the decision. If you had to cook for more than one I would recommend swapping the trays at about 45 minutes and cooking for about 75-80 minutes all up, that usually gets the best results for my family. Always try and cook pre thawed food, it makes a huge difference to the cooking times, you would need to add about 20-30 minutes for a fully frozen pizza. Also remember all travel ovens will have slightly different cook times, depending on your electrical system supplying it.

*Remember its not perfect, compared to the way you cook at home in your own oven, but it's all happening while your driving and saving you time when you arrive at your destination or for your lunch stop on the road. Keep trying different foods and times and see what works for you and your family.

Pre heat oven for 30-45mins, Prep time 5 mins, cooking time approx 1 hour.

1 x Frozen Pizza of choice
