This video is about the Waterphone, one of the coolest and weirdest percussion instruments you will ever see. A favorite of film composers, the Waterphone was invented by Richard Waters in the late 1960's. The intruments he made are considered the stratavario of waterphones.
I demonstrate two different size instruments as well as a lesser knockoff instrument so you can hear the difference.
