Stages of Shock | Types of Shock | Shock (Part 2)

In this second lesson in our series of lessons on shock, we talk about the different stages of shock as well as a quick overview of the different types of shock. We continue presenting these higher level, fundamental concepts of shock that not only apply to all forms of shock, but play a vital role in your understanding, recognizing, and thus being able to appropriately intervene and treat.

We start by breaking down the three stages of shock and covering the differences between each of the stages and what will happen as your patient progresses through each stage.

Then we move on start the introduction to the different types of shock, also known as the causes. We break down the three main categories of causes and list any of the subcategory types of shock and how they relate to one of three main types.
