Tranquil Fern Garden

Not only the orangery garden is very beautiful. There are other areas in park Vordenstein that are worth a visit! Like the "Fern Garden" or "Shade Garden" near the entrance. A beautiful round gate leads you to this peaceful oasis packed with all kinds of ferns and shade-loving plants. Everything is calm, green and natural, there's even a hammock, really relaxing!

You can see the layers very clearly in this natural looking garden. First there is the canopy of the trees, second the larger shrubs (like the Rhododendrons), further down below are the ferns and other groundcover plants. A beautiful composition!
