Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood: Revisiting Classic Winnie-the-Pooh

Описание к видео Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood: Revisiting Classic Winnie-the-Pooh

Some books aimed at children are incredibly well-written, and the original Winnie-the-Pooh, a/k/a Winnie-the Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner, by A. A. Milne, are no exception. Join me for a half hour's review of these books; a little bit about the author, and illustrator Ernest Shepard; and some of the things that make these works just so darn good. (Also, indulge me while I read some passages aloud in full character voice... I just couldn't not).

This all is just an overview; here's where you can find more:

A documentary on AA Milne:
   • A. A.  Milne documentary

An excerpt from the books, read aloud by someone no doubt much better than I:
   • Winnie the Pooh by A. A. Milne. Audio...

A clip of a news story on the real-life, grown-up, Christopher Robin:
   • Christopher Robin Milne in CNN Ashdow...

A British news (fluff story) clip on Ernest Shepard:
   • Personality Meet - Ernest Shepard (1946)
